From skulls to stylish home

This set of curtains is going into a bachelors parlor. He had dark blue walls and skulls everywhere. He asked me what color to paint his walls. He also wanted his curtains black. Okay! Where I'm I to begin? First, told him to repair his ripped leather couch. Then shine the leather couch to make it look new. Second, get all the skulls out of this room. Then paint the walls a gold color to bring out the black. Third, move the furniture around to make it look bigger. While he did that, I made these curtains. Lot of work in the apartment for sure. He is in artist he needs to paint pictures too lol. Okay the room got moved around it looks so big now. It looks like a double parlor with a sitting area.

Man cave not in my house. Oh NO!

Ok man cave in cellar and garage sounds awesome to me. When it comes in the house "clean up or ship out" is my motto. Okay men if you have a room clean it. I have enough to clean lol. Curtains? Do you know you have to clean them? Well I went into a man cave and found curtains as old as my marriage omg. Check out the fading from the sun, ouch. Check out the new look. Oh yeah! Now to get a new bed spread. Can't wait for him to come home and see the difference. Oh yeah. Did I forget to mention. Does a man cave mean "I like my room dark too". Well he's got it. How old is the house? 200 years old

Now this house is a challenge. All the walls on the first floor is egg shell or white. The second floor has old looking wallpaper. Boy do I have a lot of work, lol. I already did the dining room and the kitchen. Now color in the parlor and hallway. I decided to combine the hallway to the parlor because I painted the porch yellow to contrast the rooms. I found curtains that matched the kitchen and the pallor and cut them to fit the windows. I went to a thrift shop and did not pay much for them $24. For three windows that's big savings. Found odds and ends stuff to match the furniture. Room looks bigger and welcoming when company comes in. Another big savings yahoo.
